The Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) program at the Glenn County Office of Education plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of students across the region. As the Region 2 Local Educational Consortium (LEC), our office serves as a local arm of the Department of Healthcare Services, providing essential training, support, and oversight for district MAA programs throughout Region 2.

 

Our MAA team, housed within the Glenn County Office of Education, offers comprehensive services to ensure the effective implementation of MAA programs. These services include coordinating with school districts, providing training on program requirements, assisting with documentation and reporting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The program helps schools recover costs for administrative activities that support the Medi-Cal program, ultimately benefiting students by enhancing access to health services and resources.
