Assistant Superintendent of Special Programs

Nikol Baker serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Special Programs at the Glenn County Office of Education. In this role, she is dedicated to enhancing educational services and ensuring that all special programs effectively meet the diverse needs of students within the county.

 

With a strong background in education and a passion for strategic planning, Nikol focuses on developing and supporting initiatives that empower students to become future leaders. Her commitment to education is reflected in her approach to fostering inclusive learning environments and advocating for the necessary resources to support all learners.

 

Prior to her current position, Nikol has held various educational leadership roles, including serving as the superintendent/principal at Lake Elementary School District for 11 years. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to engage with various stakeholders to drive educational improvement.

 

Nikol holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and continues to be an active participant in professional development opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge in the field of education. Her work is characterized by a commitment to excellence and a belief in the transformative power of education.
